The Girl
Hi I’m Kate, the girl behind Kate Van Gilst Nutrition. I’m a mom, nutritionist, and a nurse that loves good wholesome food. I am fired up and passionately motivated to help women live their best and healthiest lives possible.
I was always the girl with raging PMS. I would have to take a day off work to manage the cramps, and fatigue, and the week before was full of some major mood swings and tons of acne. I had the most unpredictable periods, I never knew when everything was going to go down hill, FAST for a week or two. I took the birth control prescribed to manage these symptoms, which didn't last long I could never remember to take it. Fast forward a few years things are still pretty miserable during that week or 2 of my random cycle, but now I want to have some babies. We try, and try, and try nothing happens.. a PCOS diagnosis, I was fed up to say the least. This is when I FINALLY started to look towards other things like lifestyle, food and supplements. Fast forward again to today I have 2 kids , a regular cycle, with no PMS.
